The actress who was born on August 15, 1977, turned 42 today and decided to mark the day with some outstanding photos.

For about 18 years, the actress has played both lead and supporting roles that have won her accolades and awards.
Nana Ama made her first appearance on the Ghanaian movie scene in 2001 with the movie, That Day to launch what will become a glowing career.
Her performance in That Day opened the floodgates to many more glorious roles, landing her a spot on the TV series, Tentacles.

In 2007, the movie Asoreba, co-starring Agya Koo and Mercy Asiedu, turned Nana Ama into a household name.

McBrown’s birthday comes 12 days after her husband, Maxwell Mawu Mensah, celebrated his birthday.
