An Imaam, Ustadh Ku Yaqub Ku Hashim died on the pulpit while delivering his Jumu’ah Lecture at Masjid Bukhari, Kedah, Malaysia.
Shortly after he openly declared his shahadah and read verses asking people to be conscious of Allah and not to die except in the condition of submission unto Allah, he collapsed and passed away within seconds.

A video clip showing the happening was shared by Mufti Menk who described his passing as a ‘blessed death’. In the clip, the cleric was captured declaring his shahadah and reading verses as he asked people to be conscious of Allah and not to die except in the condition of submission unto Allah.
Within seconds of delivering his sermon, he collapsed and passed away. He was immediately carried by congregants out of the mosque.
