Annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019 was held on Saturday 18th May 2019 and it was well attended by celebrities all over the country.
The CEO of Charterhouse Mrs Theresa Ayoade and the host for VGMA 2019, Chairman General Kwame Sefa Kayi have confirmed that they refused to mentioned the winners of two outstanding awards due to the fracas that suspended the show for about 45 minutes.

According to Kwame Sefa Kayi, the two awards belonged to Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale respectively.
In an interview with Accra based radio station Peace FM, Kwame Sefa Kayi revealed the musicians who were going to win the two unannounced awards.
He noted that the Foreign Minister, Tourism Minister, Deputy Communication and Information Minister, British High Commissioner and other top Vodafone officials were there so it was inappropriate for the scuffle to happen.

MC for the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Sefa Kayi jabbed the two musicians, claiming that their actions were uncalled for.
When asked about winners of the unannounced awards consisting of Most Popular Song of the Year and Artiste of the Year, he revealed that it was for the two feuding musicians.
