Popular Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh has reportedly jetted off to Maryland, USA, following the dead of his wife Bettie Jenifer.
Mr. Attoh who was in Los Angeles shooting a new movie cut short the project and darted off to find out more details of the harrowing news.
Bettie Jenifer, was reportedly shot by a gunma on the Friday night after she had closed from work.
Jenifer of Bowie, had left the office in the 6300 block of Ivy Lane and was walking to her car when a man armed with a handgun approached her, the Greenbelt Police Department said.

When she tried to run away, the man followed her and fired at her multiple times, with at least one shot hitting her in the head.
Her attacker has been described as a “a black male with a thick build and black hair, wearing a dark shirt and dark pants” by the Police and he remains on the run.

Chris Attoh married the 44-year-old American business mogul Bettie Jenifer at a private ceremony in Accra October 2018 few months after divorcing his first wife, Nigerian actor DamiloIa Adegbite, with whom he has a son.
Chris Attoh had sparked divorce rumours when he deleted all photos of his wife Jenifer, whom he married just last year 2018, from his social media pages.
The report revealed that the couple were not fine, However, both Chris and Jenifer had remained tight-lipped on the matter till her sudden death.
