The overlord of Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is undoubtedly one of the most famous men in Ghana. His popularity surpasses the borders of his Kingdom.
While his fame and respect are not in doubt, not much is known about his private life, especially his nuclear family, except for the fact that he is married to Lady Julia.

Asantehene celebrated his 69th birthday on Monday which coincided with the grand final of the 20th-anniversary celebration of his enstoolment.
Otumfuo’s birthday celebrations was well-attended with Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo, Chief of Staff Frema Osei Opare and other leading members of government present.
Otumfour’s wife, Lady Julia, and children were present to give thanks to God for taking care of their King, Father, and Husband at thanksgiving service held at St Cyprian’s Anglican Cathedral in Kumasi on Monday

The son, Nana Kwame Kyeretwie, is the older with sister, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem (named after Otumfuo’s mother, the late Asantehemaa).
In photos from the celebration sighted by Atinkanews.net , Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II looked radiant in beautiful Kente cloth. Lady Julia, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem and Nana Kwame Kyeretwie wore beautiful white polished material to match it.
Also in attendance was CEO of Adinkra Meat Pie Barima Osei Mensah and Ibrahim Mahama, brother of former president Mahama who got a lot of cheers over the posh car he was driving.
