Ghana’s ‘Highest’ rapper, Sarkodie, live Concert which was slated for 15th December and was to be held at Harold Washington Cultural Center Chicago has officially been cancelled.

In a video posted on his social media platform : he explained that he went to the airport yesterday and during check-in, his ticket was nowhere to be found on the system, and due to that he wasn’t able to fly out of the country.

He further stated that, he even called the promoters to see if the issue could be rectified but it was too late as there were no available flights at the time, so the only alternative would be to book another flight, but as he’s expected to perform today and that wouldn’t be possible, he felt it’s necessary that he makes a video to explain things to the fans who are waiting to see him perform.


He added that, he’s waiting on the promoters to fix a new date for him, and would update fans on whatever decision is reached.
