The simplified analytic report gives an overview of an artiste’s performance on the platform in the year under review and we share with you the report for that of Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale since they are the two biggest dancehall artistes in Ghana.
So here’s the real deal; This year, Shatta Wale had 6 Million Views with 582,000 fans from 65 countries worldwide. The amount of time spent listening to his songs is 333k hours.
His fiercest rival, Stonebwoy has 4 million streams with 327, 000 fans from 65 countries.
So evidently, Shatta Wale had a very successful year compared to his record label mate as the above statistics indicate
Both artistes did well, but we would want to see the numbers rise next year, so make sure to get a Spotify account and create your playlists and listen to their music so they can make some revenue from there.
