AtinkaNews reported not long ago about a Ghanaian soldier who has died just one month to his wedding at the hands of a “Hit and Run” driver.
The incident occurred on 4th September 2018 at Aburi and the soldier died on 7th September 2018 around 1:00 AM at the hospital.
What has caused the huge social media anger and pain is the information that though the impact of the hit was so hard the car’s driving mirror yanked off, the driver failed to stop to attend to the victim.

The name of the soldier is Lieutenant Felix Tei Sormenah and he was an officer with the First Infantry Battalion (1BN) in Takoradi.
He was set to marry his longtime girlfriend, Maame Efua Addison on 6th October 2018, something which will never happen now.

From the information gathered, when the driver driving a white Salon car knocked the soldier down, the impact of the clash was so hard that the driver’s driving mirror even broke off but the mysterious careless driver never bothered to stop to attend to the victim leaving him bleeding on the road.
