Kumawood actor Lil Win born Kwadwo Nkansah made his first public appearance hours after his gory road accident on May 25, 2024, in the Ashanti Region.
Lil Win sent shock waves down the spines of many Ghanaians when he showed up to the movie premiere of A Country Called Ghana hours after his near-fatal car accident at Amakom in Kumasi.

He was seen being ushered into the venue of the event at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with a plaster on his head suggesting the severity of the injury he suffered from the accident.
According to eyewitnesses, LilWin suffered minor injuries as did his road manager and bodyguard, who were also in the car, and also sustained minor injuries as well.
At the time of the accident, LilWin was en route to the funeral of actress Matilda Asare’s mother.

Many people in the comment section got emotional as they saw the video of Lil Win walking into the venue despite recovering from his near-fatal car accident earlier that day.
The weekend also recorded another accident which involved Ghanaian music artists KK Fosu and Bless. The incident happened on the Apam stretch on Saturday (25 May).
Details remain sketchy but sources close to the situation revealed that Bless suffered severe injuries, including a fractured leg, and is currently in critical condition.
Meanwhile, KK Fosu sustained injuries in the accident and is also being monitored by medics.
