Latest photo of Ebony’s tomb at Osu Cemetery gets Ghanaians weeping

Friday, February 8, 2019, marked exactly one year since dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns, passed away.

To remember the 90s Bhadgyal, as Ebony was also known, the singer’s father, Nana Poku Kwarteng, took to social media to release a special video expressing his sadness over his daughter’s death.

Ricky Nana Agyemang aka Bullet, CEO of RuffTown Records, the record label that managed Ebony before her untimely death also posted a photo of the silky singer with a touching message.

Being the star that she was, the remembrance for Ebony was not left to her family and colleagues. Just like her death and funeral it literally became a national affair.

Many photos and videos of Ebony flooded social media as Ghanaian celebrities and ordinary citizens marked the dancehall diva’s first death anniversary in their own ways.

One of the many images to remember Ebony that caught attention on social media was that of the singer’s tomb which is made in colours similar to her controversial casket.

The photo of Ebony’s tomb has stirred emotions on social media just like a photo of her graveyard cast in concrete immediately after she was buried on March 24th.

Many people who have come across the image on social media have expressed their sadness.
