American country/pop musician Jackson Rohm was from Rosemary Beach, Florida. He sang a wide variety of songs, including classic rock, 80s pop, 90s rock, and today’s top hits. His songs, Rio, Gasoline and Matches, One More Fourth of July, Bleeding, and “The Old Me,” were well-known and frequently played in the US. In addition to cover venues and exclusive events all throughout the East Coast and Midwest, he performed at original music clubs and festivals.

Rohm developed a love of music at a young age and began playing the guitar at the age of 12. After graduating from Southwestern High School in West Ellicott, New York, in 1989, he attended Cornell University and the University of Virginia before deciding to take a track scholarship to Miami University. He joined the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity while still an undergraduate.
Rohm played at almost 4,000 events and published seven full-length albums of original music during the course of his career. His 2001 album Sink or Swim had a modern rock feel to it, and his 2003 album Red Light Fever had a rendition of Concrete Blonde’s “Joey.” In addition to acoustic renditions of several of his previously released songs, he also included five brand-new songs on his Nashville-recorded album Acoustic Sessions, which was released in 2010.
