Yaw Eyifua Gorman (Dr. Sting) formerly of Atlantis FM and a headteacher has reportedly been shot dead last night around CNC, Cape Coast on his way home by unknown assailants.
From the reports we sampled from social media, Dr. Sting had an argument with some people centered on politics which resulted in one person being stabbed.
The deceased quickly left the scene so he wouldn’t be a victim of the chaotic situation of the argument but he was trailed by those he engaged in the arguments with who allegedly shot him in the head.

The police consequently proceeded to the scene, but the victim had been taken to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for treatment. Police proceeded to the hospital but were told that the victim was pronounced dead on arrival by the doctor.
The body was found lying at the mortuary with blood oozing from the left eye. When his body was examined, a gunshot wound was found on the left eye.
The body was deposited in the morgue pending further investigation.

One co-tenant told Joy News that they heard the sound of the gun and rushed out to figure out what it was only to find Gorman shot dead.
”We were all in our room and we heard a loud noise. Some of us thought it was a knockout. ”Then we heard his wife screaming … ‘Please someone should come and help me!’ So when we did.” The Central Region Police Command has launched investigations into the incident.
