Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has been endorsed by his father, Pete Edochie (who is a veteran in the movie industry) to run for the 2023 presidential election.
Yul broke the news in a video shared on his Instagram and Twitter pages on Thursday, February 11, 2021.

In the less-than-three-minute video tagged: “My Father Chief Pete Edochie endorses my 2023 Presidential ambition. God Almighty, take absolute control,” Pete confirmed his position.
Pete in the video, disclosed that the endorsement follows ceaseless pleas from young people asking him to openly back his son’s bid for the country’s highest political office.
The veteran actor also expressed confidence that his son posses the right values and drive to steer the country forward.

Although the Nollywood star admitted that he is not into politics, Pete said it is not compulsory for all his children to follow his career.
