Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has reported she is being threatened by some members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The threat comes after the actress questioned the sense behind the government charging passengers who arrived in Ghana an amount of $150 to screen them for coronavirus.

She argued that those passengers were already required to have tested before leaving their various locations and to show a certificate of testing before boarding the plane.
Given this background, Lydia believes the NPP government’s policy to charge people for another test is unwarranted and called on President Akufo-Addo to help her with an explanation.
“Why are people having to pay $150 dollars for another test at the airport, when they’re already required to test 72hrs before departure and show a certificate before boarding?!!
Help me understand this please. @NAkufoAddo

Following the post above, Lydia Forson says she has been attacked by some sympathizers of the party and shared a photo of one with the caption; “Please whose family member is this? He says he will make sure I don’t get away with the “shit” I post. Who’s willing to help us meet so he shows me exactly how.”
