Kumawood actress and filmmaker, Tracey Boakye has reacted to reports that Ex-President John Dramani Mahama is the father of her daughter.
Tracey Boakye and Mzbel, both well-known supporters of the NDC, got engaged in a fierce banter on social media few days ago over a rich married man (sugar daddy) they were both dating.

Some people have alleged that former President Mahama is the supposed ‘Sugar Daddy’ that Mzbel and Tracey Boakye are fighting over.
This rumour was further deepened when Gloria Kani claimed that Tracey Boakye is blackmailing the former president.
She warned her colleague to stop blackmailing the politician by claiming he is the father of her child.

In reaction to this development, Tracey Boakye took to her Instagram page to denied the rumours of Mahama being the father of her daughter.
According to her, Mahama is an innocent and well-respected family man and must be left out of her matter.
Expressing deep respect for Mahama, Tracey apologised for the negative publicity she has brought him.

The actress also indicated that she has decided to keep her relationship and baby daddy away from the media form now onwards.
Tracey Boakye made this comment after a purported message from Ex-President Mahama pledging his support for her surfaced online.
She wrote : “I REALLY RESPECT THE FORMER PRESIDENT, H.E MAHAMA, AND IM SOO SORRY FOR ALL THE NEGATIVE NEWS CIRCULATING ON SOCIAL MEDIA. IVE DECIDED TO KEEP MY RELATIONSHIP AND BABY DADDY AWAY FROM THE MEDIA, SO PLEASE STOP TAGGING AN INNOCENT AND WELL RESPECTED MAN AND HIS FAMILY . THANK YOU.”
