Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, is among celebrities known to use their Instagram accounts as another source of income and the movie star has now cried out following an encounter with scammers on the platform.
Dikeh recently took to her Instastory channel to reveal the modus operandi of the said scammers.

According to her, she has over 1K foreign accounts who are asking to pay her so that she can use her platform to advertise their products.
The actress said the individuals claim to work for an advertising company but she found out that most of them barely have any online presence. Dikeh said it was the first red flag she noticed.
According to the Nollywood star, anyone who falls a victim by clicking on any links they send risks giving them full access to his/her digital footprint.

As a final note of warning, the actress warned members of the online community to be cautious as the said scammers offer juicy prices for their evil ploys.
“Please beware and be smart, they come with juice prices. The money will tempt you,” Dikeh wrote in her post.
