On the Daybreak Hitz show on Thursday morning, Andy Dosty has explained that Shatta Wale did not send police to seize the car he gifted Joint77.
Yesterday on Hitz Fm’s Entertainment show with Andy Dosty, a heated argument ensued between dancehall king Shatta Wale and his militant Joint 77 who had gone to the studio to promote his new song.
Some news was making round that Shatta Wale asked some police officers to confiscate the car he bought for Joint 77. yesterday

However, reacting to the turnout of events on his show this morning, Andy Dosty Clarified that it was the management of the station which invited the police personnel because they feared that violence could erupt because of the heated exchanges.
According to him, they felt it was necessary to protect their guest, clarifying that Shatta Wale did not have a hand in the arrival of the police personnel on the premises.
He said “Let’s correct this ok? People come on Social media without fact-checking. I have been so worried about some of these things. Shatta Wale didn’t call the police. We called the police because we feared something could happen.”
