Recoveries in Ghana’s COVID-19 cases has increased. This comes after the Ghana Health Service (GHS) latest update indicated some 786 patients have had their recoveries, making the total number of recoveries 1,460.
This is a welcoming news as many have complained vehemently about the rate of recovery and numbers in the past.

However, the update by GHS also suggest an increase in the number of positive cases recorded as of May 15, 2020.
The latest update has risen Ghana’s total cases to 5,638 and four more deaths have also been recorded making the number of fatalities to 28.
The Ghana Health Service website update revealed that of the 108 new cases discovered,44 were recorded in Accra, 26 in the Western Region, 16 in the Central Region, and 12 from the Northern Region.

Of the other 10 cases five were discovered in Kumasi the capital of Ashanti region and the other five in Obuasi where there opinions for a possible lockdown.
Yet to record first Coronavirus cases are the Bono East, Ahafo, and the Savannah region.
