Cargo truck driver attempts to smuggle people from Accra to Tamale in the midst of Coronavirus lock down
The partial lockdown announced by President Akufo-Addo in Accra, Kasoa, Tema and Kumasi has begun.
A cargo truck driver has fallen on the wrong side of the law after getting arrested for attempting to smuggle people from Accra to Tamale in the midst of the Coronavirus lock down.

A few photos trending had the Cargo truck packaged like it has been stocked with goods.
But in actual sense, the truck was full of people believed to be the Northerners working on the streets of Accra.

The lock down still continues and there will be restrictions on the movement of persons in the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (GAMA, which include Awutu Senya East and the Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Area and contiguous districts, for a period of two (2) weeks or 14 days subject to review.
Residents in these affected areas are expected to stay at home but can come out for some essential services.
