Nana Osei Boansi Kuffuor died at the Ridge Hospital Friday, March 27 after being rushed to the facility on Thursday night.
According to the gathered information, Obour’s father came from the United Kingdom (UK) on Thursday, March 19, 2020.

After his return, Boansi Kuffuor was said to be in good health but he started exhibiting some signs of the coronavirus such as severe coughing.
Obour’s father was sent to the Ridge Hospital where he was asked to be put be isolated due to the symptoms of Coronavirus that he was showing.
On the night of Thursday, March 26, 2020, Obour’s father had difficulty in respiring and they called on an ambulance for him to be taken back to the hospital.

He got to the hospital at about 11:00pm on Thursday and he died on Friday evening.
Following the death, Obour’s family has been asked to take steps to start contact tracing and also self-isolation.
