Award-winning Afropop singer, David Adeleke also known as Davido has disclosed why most rich kids end up not having money of their own as he talks about how he lost his mother Veronica Adeleke, while at a tender age.
The ‘Risky’ crooner, in an interview with Pulse TV, revealed that he was really broke when growing up, and that his hardwork brought him this far and it was not because of his father’s influence.

He said the normal cycle for rich kids was to go to school, graduate and work for their parents, but he had to break that and hustle for his own money.
According to him, it was not easy and it demanded serious hard work from him.
“I was very broke, it wasn’t funny. Do you know that most rich pikins no get money? Because they don’t feel they need to work or aspire to be something,” he said.

“I fought to do this music, I come from a family that you go to school, graduate and work for pop but I had to fight,” he added.
