Popular Nigerian actress , Mercy Johnson, is a known face in the industry and her acting talent is undeniable.
Despite that, she has taken things a step further by trying her hands at the process that goes on behind the scenes.

The film star recently premiered her new movie, The Legend of Inikpi, which also happens to be her directorial debut.
A number of top Nigerian film stars failed to show up when Mercy Johnson premiered her movie on January 19, 2020.
Many expected to see a lot of popular faces at the Silverbird Cinema in Lagos but this was not the case.

Rita Dominic, Tonto Dikeh, Uche Jombo, Ini EdoFunke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, Toke Makinwa, Omotola Ekeinde, Dakore Akande and many other constant event red carpet faces were absent.
It is unclear if Mercy Johnson invited them or not but many believe they should have supported the actress in anyway possible.
Also, only a few have posted about the movie in terms of publicity on their social media pages.

Well, Prince Okojie has said that God has got his wife’s back. The proud man took to his social media page to share a photo of his very pregnant wife as he commended her effort.
In the caption to one of his posts, he wrote: “That smiles when God got your back…At the movie premiere of THE LEGEND OF INIKPI”
