A man identified as Opomo Bello Terry has been arrested by the police after he was caught in a scam directed at actress Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko.
In an interview with the press, the young man, who said he is a fraudster, revealed that he had called Ned Nwoko to claim that he was hired to assassinate his wife.He noted that he asked the man for N700k to stop the assassination.

The man revealed that Nwoko, who did not believe him, asked him to come clean and tell him what he wants. He said he told the man the truth, that his only intention was to scam him.
However, Nwoko sent N400k to the man’s account and reported him to the bank which led to his arrest.
Terry explained that he later said he told Nwoko to assist him with funds. He said he learned from his experience with Nwoko that there is no shortcut to success.

The 24-year-old man noted that he was staying in Ghana before he came to Nigeria. He asked Nwoko to forgive him.
