Dancehall sensation Stonebwoy said he has not been arrested by the police after he pulled a gun on stage at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
In a new Tweet on Stonebwoy’s Twitter page , the Bhimnation CEO thanked the police for ensuring his safety during and after the music awards.

“Kindly help me thank the Ghana police force..for keeping situations calmer and at all cost ensured my safety up until I entered my gates.
I was never arrested whatsoever as some media reporters have it!!
Thanks to the counter-terrorism commander and his team..,” he tweeted.

Earlier, www.atinkanews.net reported the unfortunate event that happened at the VGMAs earlier this morning between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
Stonebwoy had been called on stage to receive the Reggae-Dancehall Artiste of the Year award beating Shatta Wale, samini, and others.
As Stonebwoy walked on stage to receive his award, Shatta Wale followed him for reasons best known to himself but the fans were infuriated by his move and stormed the stage.
Stonebwoy pulled out a gun on stage but was calmed down by his fans.
