News making the rounds online have it that Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh’s wife has reportedly been shot dead in the US.
It was gathered that police officials are searching for a gunman who fatally shot the actor’s wife Bettie Jenifer in the head, in the parking lot of a Maryland office building.

Chris was said to be shooting a movie in Los Angeles, but had to cancel that project in order to be in Maryland.
The actor, according to sources, is overwhelmed as expected, and is sure to gather details concerning the sad news.

Greenbelt Police Department disclosed that Jenifer left her office in the 6300 block of Ivy lane and was walking towards her car when a suspect armed with a gun approached her.
Jenifer who tried to run away from her assailant was followed by the man who fired off multiple rounds, with at least one shot hitting her. The 44-year-old was declared dead at the scene.
Attoh and Jenifer tied the knot at a ceremony in October 2018, shortly after his divorce with Nigerian actress, Damilola Adegbite, with whom he has a son.
